After years of helping friends and family pick out paint colors, furniture, the perfect gift – it became time for me to start doing it for real. And so it began with this blog. Years later it has evolved into people asking for help with all kinds of things …from coffee table styling to Christmas guides to what college kids will need for their dorm rooms.
So now if I feel that I can help with a topic I write a post.
The “about me” has changed over the years too. I no longer have two schools aged boys – Cooper is a sophomore at Michigan State and Jack recently graduated from Johns Hopkins and is now out in the real world. My furry girl Puck is 13 – so we’ve all gotten a little older lol.
My philosophy hasn’t changed – it is still buy what you love. If it’s expensive, save up for it…buy less, but buy the right piece and you won’t regret it. Some of my favorite things I have had for more than 20 years. I have a few vices…. I love purses, pillows, ribbon (for wrapping presents), balloon skirts, my charm bracelet, cool glasses, cardigans and the color black (ok maybe more than a few.)
Style Elevator – it kind of says it all. If I can put a little extra spin on things to elevate the everyday my job is complete. Hope you enjoy.
