I’m all about flower boxes. Cool ones, that is. When we moved into our home, we inherited several flower boxes that I proceeded to use until they were literally unusable. I mean crumbling unusable. After I decided they were a hot mess and it was time to upgrade, I went about researching my options. After much ado, I landed on flowerboxes.com and have been thrilled with my choice. I love everything about them, especially the glossy black finish.
Less difficult than deciding on the flower boxes themselves is what to put in them. And for that, I have my dear friend, Eddie, to thank. For over twelve years, Eddie and I have collaborated on everything having to do with outside my home. (And one year, he did the interior greenery as well, helping me get ready for a home tour…yikes!)
It helps that we have very similar taste and he understands how much I love certain palettes. I’m all about varying shades of green, white, pink and purple, and of course, red and green for the holidays. The Eddie and Christine show this fall and winter is all about cabbage, kale, twigs, fruits, pinecones and berries incorporated into window boxes, wreaths and garland.
